Nottawasaga Model Railway

the Nottawasaga Model Railway is a model railway club located in Collingwood, ON. We've been around for over 30 years and we have two HO layouts. One, which we take to shows, is whimsical, the other is under construction and is 45' long by 15' wide on two levels. It's based on the Meaford sub-division of CN, which ran from Barrie to Meaford, and the era is during the transition from steam to diesel, circa 1955. Our emphasis is on Collingwood and it's shipbuilding industry, now sadly gone.

TRHA / Toronto Railway Museum

Toronto's John Street Roundhouse, Canadian National steam locomotive No. 6213, the massive Union Station and the more intimate Don station are all survivors from the golden age of railways. They are owned by the City of Toronto and will form the nucleus of a new Railway Museum in the heart of downtown Toronto. The Toronto Railway Historical Association is working closely with the City of Toronto to ensure that this long sought after dream becomes a reality.
